So I forgot to post these a few days ago...Greg bought a grill so we (accidentally) broke the law and used it on the porch. Grandma, if you see this...that's the headlamp you bought Greggy :)

Art and music

So I was listening to my music last night and started sketching to go along with it. I think I'll make it my new project. Here's what I have so far...

Adventures in Felt

I bought $20 worth of Felt and such...and i made a barrette! Yay!

The weirdest trip ever

My trip from Ft. Myers back to San Fran....

First flight---delayed. But really, that’s great because I get to hang with the fam longer.

We got starbucks and I had time to play with the neffer longer. Of course I must prey him from my mom.

Stacy says: “poor kid. He can’t be passed roughly like a basketball.”

Me: “Oh we know, he has to be passed gently…like herpes.”

Then, after landing, we sit on the runway for about a half hour. I have about 20 minutes before my next plane takes off…from ATL (an airport closely resembling the game mousetrap). So I take the tram to the terminal and check the flight. Which of course has switched gates. I go to that gate, the flight is delayed. Nice.

Things start looking up once I’m on.

Exact text message to Stacy: “I love delta. Free movies and I stole two seats to myself!”

Talk about a freaking jinx. So first of all…movies turn out not to be free. And the tv that is free keeps cutting out. Every time it does it has to reboot… which takes approximately 4 minutes…which in case you were wondering, is the exact amount of time to miss any important information in a tv crime show.

THEN the [bitchy] stewardess asked if anyone was sitting next to me. I said no and she put someone there…who then proceeded to cough and snot all over me.

And this will teach me to complain…I finally get off the damn plane and go to baggage claim. I pray that my bag will come quickly so I can JUST GET HOME already. I mean cmonnn. Low and behold my bag is like number 3! Wtf, awesome. I reach out to grab my bag and by some weird miscalculation (probably due to the fact that i didn't play video games enough as a child to develop hand/eye coordination, right family?) I only scratch it and break 3 fingernails and cut my pointer finger. Really? Yeah, really.

Ummm, forget the train. I am taking a fucking taxi.

Then I spent 25 minutes trying to remember my password for my blog password for livejournal.com. As you may have noticed…my blog is not on livejournal, it’s on blogspot.

And my black nail polish broke in my suitcase.

I am staying inside tomorrow.

Growns Up

Just thought I'd let everyone know I bought stock today in an effort to grow up (and get rich quick).

I lost $11.16.

Another First

I think I've been counting the days until college graduation since my freshman year of high school. Countdown over...so why am I not cheering?

Oh right, because all my friends have dispersed themselves around the country and the economy is sucking away my already slim job options. Nice.

So here I am, back in SOUTHWEST FLORIDA. "Ouch" is all I can say. If it weren't for my one month old nephew here to give me an excuse for moving back, I would have already lost my mind.

So here's to blogging being a step towards sanity. I am going to try to steer clear of whiny blogs and maybe put up some fun stuff I can find. Of course that means stuff that comes into my bubble because my life consists of watching Brody (nephew) breathe, sneeze, eat and bathe. OK, the no whining starts here. ha.
